About Me

The American Flag Foundation
The American Flag Foundation is a non-profit organization to ensure that the true meaning of the American Flag is recognized. Headquartered in Baltimore, birthplace of the Star-Spangled Banner, the Foundation stages Living American Flags, a Parade of State Flags, and the National Flag Day Ceremony which includes the annual National Pause for the Pledge of Allegiance. The Foundation also produces educational handbooks, an elementary school curriculum on unity and patriotism. The Foundation works with school systems, and other organizations on the history and origins of the Flag. In 2011, a partnership was established between The American Flag Foundation, Friends of Fort McHenry, and the Star Spangled Banner Flag House with the War of 1812 Bicentennial Celebration Commission. www.americanflagfoundation.org
